Unlike the standard coffee carts and simple table top presentations, The Cappuccino Connection is exclusively designed to rapidly serve all your guests without a waiting line. Our expansive presentation is itself a decorative element that adds beautifully to each event's decor. With 25 years of pioneering experience, we have a wonderful working relationship with the many fine hotels, country clubs, wineries, event planners and caterers on the West Coast. In years past, we have served at many prestigious venues including the Emmys, Golden Globes and the Governor's Ball at the Academy Awards.
HISTORY of the THE CAPPUCCINO CONNECTION:
The Cappuccino Connection had its organic beginnings in the late 1980's as a beverage concession during intermissions at the Lobero Theater in downtown Santa Barbara. "Can you also bring this service to our wedding?" "Sure". "How about the upcoming Italian Festival?" "Okay." "We are having a large fundraiser and we would love to have you there!" "I'm available." And that's how it all began!
From that point forward, we joined the Santa Barbara Event Professionals () and and other professional groups in Los Angeles and Orange County. To date, we have served at literally thousands of extraordinary venues and events. What will make it all complete, is the opportunity to now serve at yours!
ABOUT THE OWNER
My name is Ken Cohen and along with being an owner of The Cappuccino Connection, I am a writer, a poet, a published author of children's books, a yoga teacher, and I also train in t'ai chi and zen. I love the outdoors and have led high level wellness treks into the California Mountains. I exercise in the early mornings at the beach with my dog and swim in the ocean all year round. Oh, yes, I follow up my routine with a slice of toast and a double shot of low fat vanilla cappuccino or chai latte with a little bit of extra foam... as my little buddy, Binky, a very cute white Chihuahua, with one brown and one blue eye, sips his morning H2O.
